Alright, I was just wondering.... When a girl is talking (just talking) to a guy, and she thinks that they are getting along great....he all of a sudden he stops talking to her and lies to her about calling....What's up with that guys? I mean the girl is like is it my looks, is it just me in general, and he says none of the above....I just want to get into a guys head and find out why most of them are like that....So bring it on boys...and don't hold nothing back....

Well guys like to cut off contact with girls because it makes them want him more. By cutting off all contact with a girl, he basically forces her to think "Where did he go? Did I do something wrong?".
Guys like to give girls the impression that they have a very busy life with lots of friends, school activities, a job, etc. otherwise she will think he is an unexciting loser with nothing to do with his time.
She will think about him a lot, wondering what he's doing and this just makes her want him more and more. Oh, and guys hate girls nagging.

Well, understanding people is really hard whether it a guy or a girl, especially for the opposite sex. A few reasons could be: he's scared either of your feelings for him, he miss read them, his feelings for you, or commitment of any sort, again miss read your intentions. He just needed to get away, didn't know what else to say, and that was an easy way out. The lying, again is , possibly, not wanting to get involved, shy, not knowing what more to say, or miss reading feelings, yours or his own.
As I said they are all easy ways to just duck and run.

It could be he was unsure of your feelings for him and saw you talking with another guy who seemed to be real competition for your attention.
