Well anyone can get breast cancer. Even men! I have personally heard of someone 23 develope breast cancer and of course as we age there is more of a risk. If you have cancer in your family I would recommend screening every couple of years when you are in your early 20's. Just to be safe. With no history I would say check manually often and get mammograms as recommended by your doctor. After 40 I would say have the annual mammogram.

Cancer can happen to anyone at anytime. I believe it's more common among women or 50 but i'm not sure. If you're worried or have a family history of breast cancer you should do a self breast exam once a month. Pharmacies have pamphlets on how to do this, or you can ask your doctor. Look for lumps, pains, thickening of skin, hardness and any other irregularities.

One of the responses sound more like they might scare than give you the reply you want. Breast melanoma in a younger girl your age is virtually remarkable. It's without doubt hormonal. Even after getting reached puberty the breasts can continue to improve repeatedly unevenly. It is traditional to be quite greater on the right if you are right passed and vice versa if you are left surpassed. I have been instructed with the aid of my medical professional that caffeine can aggrevate fluid retention just before your interval and calcium can aid alleviate it. Additionally tylenol or advil can help with the agony. It would not hurt to make an appointment with your medical professional as you may also have a cyst or two that can intent discomfort. Cysts are innocent however they can rationale numerous affliction.

I don't think your question is weird. Don't let people dump on you because they have an attitude problem.
Breast cancer becomes a more common concern among woman in their late 30's to early 40's. However, on a rare occasion, it can strike a woman fairly young. I had a scare at age 20. But it turned out to be tissue.

Primarily post-menopause, though some women (especially those with a family history) get it in their 40s, which is why some people recommend starting mammograms at age 40. That being said, it is certainly possible to get in even in your 30s, but it's rare. Usually to see it earlier than that would be due to a genetic mutation, in which case you'd have a very, very strong famliy history of breast cancer. Almost all lumps in women under 30 are benign, but still let your doctor check it out.

sweety any year . cancer is not like a viral flu it is whenever the cancer outbreaks into your body . Maybe you should be asking what you can do to prevent it ? To prevent it get your yearly mammogram test and also check and see what the risks are to getting it from the birth control your taking . Also don't smoke that will help reduce your chances of getting tremendously if it runs in the family .

Anytime. Just like other cancers you can get them anytime and they can kill you anytime. It's more prevalent later in life but it can attack at any time.
