Hi.. Try to get some physical activity in during the day so you you will feel tired at night..and try not to eat or exercise 3-4 hours before bedtime which will keep you wide awake. When you are in bed turn off the television so you don't stay awake watching a good show, if that doesn't help get OUT of bed and do something else like read a book until you get sleepy. Also try not to eat ,read ,or play video games IN the bed, just try to associate your bed with sleep time. We all have sleep problems once in a while so don't worry...eventually you will fall asleep without a problem. good luck & sweet dreams!

well you just might have too much on your mind. You are getting close to being a teenager, and that, and these years are very busy for the young. So try to just take life as it happens, and not to worry to much about what the future is going to be like, or who likes your, or who don't. Just be yourself , and relax, and try to go back to sleep, try to clear your mind before you lay down to go to sleep. If that don't help talk with your parents, and see a doctor, casue maybe you have a sleeping disorder that no one knows about . Oh and try to stay away from sleep aids, cause you just get so you depend on them, then you have to up the doze, then when you finally have to quit takeing them, you fine your self worse off then before. So just talk with your parents and see your doctor.

Try to put on a sounds of nature tape when you go to bed.....it will relax your mind and make you tired. Something like ocean waves. Take a gelmask and cool it for about 10 minutes in the fridge and place it over your eyes. It will tire your eyes and relax them. And think of nothing! Sleep!

I tend to have this problem a lot, I usually just read or put on soft music to fall asleep to. Don't drink or eat anything before you go to bed that has a lot of sugar or caffeine in it, that usually keeps me up for hours.

try melatonin...it is natural not a sleeping pill or narcotic
if that does not help you may need to see the Dr ..you could have some sort of sleep apnea which is treatable
