There's a guy in two of my classes at school. We used to despise each other until, all of a sudden, he was friendly and kinda gave me this weird, but friendly hug. Now i somehow like him. Before christmas break i was advised to let him come to me, and he did. He joined me in writing on the board or said something to me. But ever since we got back all that's happened is i said hi and he said "wassup" and then 5 minutes later he tickled me. we've caught eye-contact, but it's not enough... i need to know, should i start a conversation w/ him and about what, or should i wait for him? i am getting really anxious!

Small chit-chat here and there may give him the confidence to move things forward. Smile every now and then. Maybe he's unsure about how to approach you because even though a girl may seem friendly, guys are still afraid of total rejection. The way they test out the water is to lightly flirt with you, make eye contact and have some kind of physical contact. He may indeed be interested too, but not certain if you feel the same. Don't overdo anything and don't seem desperate. Give him a chance to be the man. See how it goes.........As long as he's not doing this to every girl!!!

Sounds like he's testing the waters, trying to see if you like him. (Guys are sensitive to rejection and cautious too!) It also sounds like he likes you.

Best thing to do is start a conversation with him and flirt a little then see how he reacts. Actions really do speak louder than words!

Since you are in two classes together that makes a great subject for conversation. Talk about the teacher or something discussed in class that you may not understand. You could always ask him if he could help explain it to you!

I think you should go for it. Some may see it as being to assertive but this will just let him know that you are interested in a relationship and you will get more than that casual eye contact o that 5 minute conversation.

u should say something first. talk about some of the wierd techers u have, or some of ur classes. maybe u could even gather up the courage to ask him on a dat, but not really making it obvious, like, "hey, u want to go out for pizza, or to the movies sometime?" act casual, and dont really try to flirt when u ask him, though, itll probly make him nervous and he might say no. if u wait for him, he may never come. go for it! whichever u choose, good luck!

What will you lose if you talk to him? Nothing! Just talk about homework, a teacher, an upcoming event in your school...nothing too heavy. You might also want to invite him somewhere. For example say: Hey! I've got to go to the mall after school/on Saturday...wanna come?

If he says "no", at least you'll know where you stand!

Well honestly in my opinion there is nothing wrong with a girl approaching a guy if you like him and if he likes you, you have nothing to lose and if he doesnt all you lose is the time spent on the conversation! I say go for it

He definitely sounds like he's fliriting with you. I would start a conversation with him, just something casual. Ask him if he's seen a new movie you saw recently, tell him you like his shirt, anything like that just to get the ball rolling.

I would strike up a conversation with him because if he likes you to he'll talk to you and maybe you'll find out he was waiting for you to say something.

Make the first move. He should be able to tell you're interested, and maybe something could spark.
