i own a repair shop,and any car can break down after 70 k miles,,lets be realistic here cars are built by machines,,and humans,,and we all have faults,,and we built the machines that help build the cars,,so yes any car or truck made can break down..but the Santa-Fe,s don't give no more problems than the rest of the vehicles do,any one of them,,including one of mine can tear up the next time i drive it,,so who knows,,i have repaired a few of them,,but not for any major things,,a few water pumps,,and brakes,,and stuff like that.but any car made may need this done right now,,but over all there good vehicles,,good luck hope this help,s.

probably need some maintainence done at 70k. any vehicle falls apart if you dont take care of it! change the oil or something

We've got 80k on ours. No problems at all. Very nice car.

they are reliable as long as they are looked after and serviced.
