Iceberg is mostly water, and while it's not bad for you, it doesn't have much good for you. It doesn't even have that much fiber. When you consider the dressing you add to give it flavor, it can actually be an unhealthy dish. Try eating darker greens, like romaine or baby spinach, which have a lot of fiber and antioxidants.

lettuce is mostly roughage and water, few vitimins or minerals. It makes a good salad though and you need roughage for your bowels to work correctly. If you want a more nutritious (and to my mind attractive and delicious) green, try fresh spinach for your next salad

not much in the way of vitamins but good fiber i think--i only eat dark leafy lettuce its better for you

Iceberg has no nutritional value, almost no fiber...it's just water.

iceburg= crap
arugla, romaine, anything that dosnt come out of a bag= healthy!
