I can't say he was the first, but I would support the notion that he was.
1. Render that which is unto Caesar...
2. Love your neighbor as you love yourself.

Those would be the two criteria.

Yes, in fact Jesus was - an original member of the Jewish rebel band called 'Humanistis Secularum.'

They only had 3 big hits, and the high point of their career was when they opened for Gilbert O'Sullivan and Madonna

Jesus believed and quoted from the Book of Genesis and interpreted it literally. Just like the book of Jonah and the literal 3 days in the belly of the whale. Nope Jesus was a 6 literal day creation believer.

i would say yes jesus never once claimed he was god but then again if he was a god he would be a humanist and so would most gods just like me
