I'll never forget the first time my husband told me he loves me.
I'll never forget the first time my son said "mommy".
My father taught me "If you do it, then it's done" even though I only ever heard him say it once.
My friend Paul, the Duke of Pudding, said "Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end" and that has become our family motto.

If you ever find yourself not liking someone, try to walk a mile in their shoes. That way your a mile away from them and you have their shoes : )
Twist on a good lesson, alway made me laugh

i remember something that my brother and i exchanged (words) when i was about 5 years (or so) years old... but i don't want to put that here, but i also remember when this other kid just sat in front of me once and said... , "Ricky... I don't like you." out of nowhere and why... i don't know... he is my little brother's best-friend.
i also remember a lot from my other years of school... i remember a lot of what people have said to me, in little bits each mostly, now that i think of it...:)!

Yep! When I was nine my mother said to me....
"WHAT DID YOU SAY????".
After I told her to go to hell.
I remember that because she didn't say anything after that, even while she was beating me!! Just that one incredulous question.
Subsequently I never even gave her directions to the corner store. Damned if I was going to tell her where to go again!
