That maybe your viewpoint and that is fine. I personally love the book "Conversations with God" and many others from Neale Donald Walsch.
Other good books are "Ask and It is Given" By Jerry and Ester Hicks.
It all depends on the individuals point of view and does not matter what others may feel, whether it is good or bad all depends on the individuals' point of view

I can see why you think that. The typical thing for people to do with God is argue with him. Sometimes I get angry with the way they responded to God. And then I think, ' If God were to talk to me the way he talked to them, what makes me so sure that I wouldn't do the same?' So then I try to prepare myself for not arguing with God, setting myself up to agreeing with him and just being thrilled to be someone that he would talk to.
I don't know if you are a Christian or not, but know that a Christian that loves God is dying to have God talk to him (or her).
It would be so cool! lol
So we have all the examples in the Bible to prepare ourselves for such an event. It looks like the End Times are manifesting situations that compare with the coming of the Great Tribulation, and people are making their choices against him, especially here. So I think that if God were to have Christians in mind to get to do things, it would be around now as it was before the flood of Noah's time.
We'll see what he does, won't we?

I didn't have a problem with the book--certainly not enough to use a superlative like "worst."
