If a person is drawing soical security and is working at a job, they do have to pay social security taxes along with state and federal income taxes on the income they make from that job.

I think it would depend on what type of income they have. If their sole income comes from social security, I don't think that they are required to pay social security taxes.

There is no upper age limit on paying into the system. You earn a wage, you pay OASDI. At your age, there is no earnings limitation that affects your SSA benefit, though. So you can pay in, then get it (some, all, or more) back in next month's SSA check!

your allowed to make so much before taxes are paid-- im not sure how much tho-- see a tax advisor or senior services for a more up to date answer-- good luck
