it is a joke and nothing but a marketing ploy to get people to buy more Special K cereal. there is nothing revolutionary in that cereal and when compared to eating whole oatmeal it's quite unhealthy as it's highly processed.

all you are doing is reducing your calories. if your current "diet" consists of more calories than you eat on the "Special K" diet than you might lose weight.

eating whole foods like eggs, fish, poultry and lean cuts of meat with high fiber carbs like oatmeal, lentils, beans, etc. is 100x better than eating a highly processed cereal like Special K.

I have been on the Special K diet for 2 days now and i have lost 1lb. Make sure you eat one healthy meal and substitute 2 meals with Special K. Also try the cereal bars as snacks they are really good.

Good Luck

Never done the special k but my husband lost 60-65 pounds eating cornflakes-with WHOLE milk. I think it has a lot to do with the dairy intake. I do believe the special k would work if cornflakes did.

It does, but it's stupid. Yes you lose weight, but only because you replace two full meals a day with bowls of cereal. And if you really want the low fats you'll have to use skim milk. It's a bummer...I know.
