Science is so good, we should use it on religion. How come they only study rocks and solid things and wind and light. It's a method of inquiry, namely to gather data and draw a conclusion plus rigorous testing. You could do that with anything, as a matter of fact it turns out you should do it with everything. Objective means to just get the facts. If we did that in sociology and the humanities we would have gotten some where and this would be a much better world wouldn't it? Also a sense of the big picture, a sense for the whole situation. You might think it's studying details but the whole picture gives you ideas, forest for the trees and everything. In other words the best scientists are artists.
Men say they don't understand women but they don't listen, observe, use all their senses to pick up signals. If they do a good enough job. the subconscious gives you the answer. It just comes to you like all ideas. you ask it tells, but it needs info so you have to use all your senses. Tone of voice, a different sound to her step, what's going on in the home and how does she react, is the situation different this time? How? That's the scientific method.
Also you have to be alive and alert in life to enjoy it fully. You just ask yourself questions and don't make assumptions. You might think she's angry, but ask yourself is it really that or something else. Are their more clues. You should really just look for clues to things and look again. I have to look 3 times coming out or a street. A person is worth more that, but not starring. You can see and get a sense out of the corner of your eye and hear things if your very attentive, sensitive. Save you a lot of rejections. You have to ask yourself, how do I feel and that's your inner sense. That sounds nuts because it's not something you talk about or even half think about but if you have to bread it down into words it might go something like that and a thousand things more.
All things fit together, they are not in departments. What men don't realize is this attitude or stance you should be the rule not the exception, enjoying your senses, not just your one sense. It's to be ALIVE not just alive. It's where you do your best thinking and are most creative. A scientist doesn't last who doesn't discover something new. Life is a joy if you keep discovering new sensations, ideas, imaginings and happenings.
You get the idea from school that science is to memorize facts about material things, it's not. It is to discover new facts, facts they don't want you to find out. LOL Hey, you'll find out those things too. If we were more sensitive to the government, we might just have the sense to sense the lies and that they don't know what they are doing. The founding fathers weren't a government the were citizens. The didn't watch the world they made it. Why can't we? The TV puts you to sleep. Do the school wake you up or as much the oppostie? What is that? Do ya really feel you have a clue to what's going on. They've got us so confused worrying about all these question that the answer to won't make much difference. Most people are actually going backwards, but the scientific approach to society would change all that. Just ask them to have the social scientists to study the issues, scientifically, no lies. All the facts. And make our leaders take a course in emotional intelligence and administration before they can run, one at least. Why do we let them give us these idiots. It's a sham and a shame. All these exuses to do things behind out back like we were the idiots. If we knew what was going on, we would know what to do. The serpent was the father of all lies. Our leaders are basically wild animals with no brain, no human brain. Yes, we could use some more science. Science calls in to account, NO fudge for you tonight. That mean you gotta think outside the box whether some one put you in there or you did. The box is the old and needs some light.

Methinks Patrick A might be right. I think Science is a good thing when it looks into things of nature, medicine, and our own health. But when Science mixes with Religion it does not seem to jell. I think Science is to help us, not debate on religious matters of the sort.

=)

Anyone who expects to live in anything resembling a modern world. Certainly anyone who is using the Internet as without Science, the Internet wouldn't exist.

Science is needed and important, but I don't care to associate it with the origin of the universe or spirituality. Entirely different concepts. Science only describes physical.

That right there shows a basic lack of intelligence. Without science you'd be dead right now from a disease. You take medicine and go to the doctor don't you?
