I would think the fetus would be happy to be up in heaven since the religious people claim that the after life is so great. Shouldn't you be patting the abortion doctors on the back for helping Jesus gain another soul?

If you really think about what you wrote, you would realize what you just said- killing someone so they can be with Jesus? Where is that going to end? If I felt like killing a neighbor, and then say they are with Jesus , and expect to be patted on the back, I would be put away for murder. Yes, being with Jesus will be a blessing to all of us who have accepted Him as Savior, and it will be an awesome time. However, your argument does not hold water, because God created that "fetus" as you call it- only God has the right to give and take a life. Something just came to my mind. People who think abortion is ok, also say that "it" is not a baby yet. OK if it is not a baby yet, how would "cells" know they are with Jesus. Only humans will know that. Granted the baby will be in heaven, but murder is not OK!! May God forgive you because you do not know what you are doing

Very good point. Many children, if not aborted, would grow up in families in which neither parent would care well for them or in which they might be abused. Many of these children would end up in conditions that are not conducive to their spiritual growth, and they would never find God. If, as many Christians believe, babies go to heaven because they have not reached the age of accountability, then I say along with you that abortion should be welcomed by evangelical Christians as a way to bring more people to God.

Later: And, by the way, for all those who answered that abortion is wrong because it is murder, it seems to me that many of the people who are so concerned about these unborn human beings are also the ones who have been particularly pro-war.

I tend to think of it from a Muslim perspective rather than Christian. I mean it's not easy coming up with 70 something virgins every time some blows themselves up, so I consider abortion an important part of 'restocking.' I don't remember people specifying if these virgins were post-pubescent or even postnatum.

It's only good for the Baby as they'll have eternal life ( 40 million+ babies and counting) The person making the decision to murder the child and the murdering doctors are the ones to have plenty to worry about. Unless they repent of that and ALL sins, they won't see their child in heaven for they'll be in hell.

How does one know when exactly a soul enters a physical body? Could it be at the moment of conception or at birth? Does anyone really know this answer? No, they do not.

Wow ... the desperate lengths to which pro-abortion people will go in order to justify the mass murder of unborn babies.

With that "logic," why stop at unborn babies?

Why not come on here, and advocate the mass murder of already-born people? If they go to heaven afterwards, then you're doing them a favor -- right?

How pathetic, no offense.

If abortion isn't murder then why do killers of pregnant women get charged with double homicide?

Would you volunteer to allow someone to stick a knife into you? MURDER is not an option. Think before you write such a thing. GOD has never said that murder was right in HIS EYES!
