I just try to live my life a certain way, and if necessary, explain why I do it and why I believe the way I do. To me, that's the most effective way of evangelization.

Biblically it can be difficult because it puts us in a position of judging. That being said the Bible does support confronting a fellow Christian doing wrong and if that doesn't work, bringing someone else with you a second time. Don't forget, your version of "following God's word" may be different, the Holy Spirit allows anyone to glean Biblical truth, are you prepared to defend what the Word says to you?

You know, when you judge other people, you are actually breaking one of God's basic laws. How dare you put yourself about anyone. Jesus was born the son of a carpenter. He was the Son of God but he did not stand on the street corner condemning people for how they lived. Rather some of his most beloved friends had led less than honorable lives.
I find it amazing that there are actually people like you in this world that sit back and judge and think you have the front row reserved in Heaven. It is laughable.
Judge not lest you be judged.
And doesn't the Bible say to hide your light under a basket?
How dare you.

Well, maybe you are chosen by God to be a more vocal Christian and confront people.
But I'll tell you what I have learned. The more you accept that God is in complete control, the less you feel obligated to speak unless God leads you in that direction. The more you decrease, the more He can increase. You can't control other people and unless the Holy Spirit moves you, you should wait on God and simply pray. You get more flies with honey....

I personally do not find it to be my place to attempt to "convert" or judge anyone else for their beliefs.
It does not matter to me whether another belefs in the same way or does not.
What gives one the right to judge or change the truth of another?
I personally believe the "actions" of people in their day to day living mean more to me then their personal beliefs.
I can recall many Christians whom claim to be Christians and are not very considerate to their fellow beings. This applies to others no matter what faith they choose to be.
My belief is be the love and show the love and the world may be a better place.

You try to love them. You try to share with them how YOU walk the walk and talk the talk. And if you feel confident enough, i think you should talk to them and be like "Hey, this is setting a bad example for others, and its not good to do what you're doing to yourself either. So maybe you should stop." But you have to confront them in a non-threatening way, and with as much compassion as possible.

r u an IDIOTE? i believe in god and i have faith. but if i die, i die. we are all temporary beings like pimples on the ******** off reality. what you should consider is seeing people as human beings with the will to live like countless other organisms. they are born, they live, the die. what they do in between is hardly worth pouting over. if anything, have sympathy. life is too short to be angry at one over religious matters. Hell, any matter at all. We were born of our forefathers. blood sweat and tears have been put into the future. why contemplate and get frustrated? we were all innocent when we were infants. why think of the infant any different forty years later? Think of them only as humans. Humans have limitations as do everything. accept them and the limitations.

No because all that does is make them mad, I dont think God wants us to push religion on people I think he wants them to accept him into their hearts on their own. We dont want to brainwash them or so to speak. I hate that I have a friend who is wiccan and I think her religion is a joke but I just dont talk to her about it, cuz sure it bugs me a little but whats the point of starting a fight with someone, if they want to believe something let them, its their life not ours. I know its hard to keep quiet sometimes, but its for the best. God doesnt want us to go around picking fights even if it is to defend him.
