Hi, I am religious muslim college student. I am planning to take a class in college. And our instructor said that students in class will be divided into several groups and each group has to have female.
I am religious, can I object about that. I don't want to mix with girls. Is their anything I can do about that. What does usa law says about that. By the way, their is only one instructor offers this class and I think that my options are kind of limited in the last year of college.
Thank you

How about going back to your own country? Then we don't have to change our whole freaking system for every special interest group that comes along. I have very religious muslim friends and they tell me the imam told them it was OK for educational purposes.

I understand and respect your religious beliefs. But because you are in the United States we expect you to respect ours too and here men and woman are equal. Period. If it bothers you so, I would talk to your professor. Only he/she can help you, otherwise, I think you need to just go with it because you are studying and obtaining an education in our country. If we were in your country, we would have to do things your country's way.
