not all girls are afraid to commit, but some may be afraid because they fear that the guy will justt end up breaking their heart

Sometimes girls are afraid to commit if they have been hurt before, like if they have had a guy lie to them or cheat on them. Or else some people have expectations that are too high, like they expect a relationship to be like love in the movies. Most girls kind of like guys to chase after them a little and prove they care and then they will commit once you make them feel special so they know you want just them and aren't looking to jump in a relationship with just anyone.

Most girls are afraid to commit because they are worried that maybe the person they are with now will HURT them like someone in the past... Personally i do not think that is a good thing because you can miss you Mr.Right by throwing and holding Mr. Wrong in his face.

Most of the time it is because they have been hurt in the past and are afraid to be hurt again! She has to be able to trust you to want to get into a committed relationship with you!

Love hurts and some/a lot of us know that personaly some guys too. I broke up with my boyfriends because I was falling in love with him and in my life love always hurt me from my father to my brother to my first crush and friends I grew afraid. But after me and him talked I realized that it wasnt right to fear love so much yet its okay to be afraid a bit lol so were just afriad thats all show us that theres NOTHING TO FEAR BEING WITH YOU then your good.

what all the other people said is too - life is too short to be with one guy, afraid of getting hurt, yes....most of all, honestly, alot of guys want sex, and i think many girls, when they think of commitment, that is what they think of and that is not necessarily what they want. i mean ya, there are those groups of girls who party it up and sleep with who ever they want that yes, thats wut they want and they dont want commitment because they would rather "play the field". but most girls are afraid of getting hurt and afraid of what comes with commitment.

Generally speaking, males have more issue with that (by far) than females. If the women you have been meeting don't care to commit, perhaps it's just that they don't care to commit to you.

this's a life time partner 4 enjoying forever togetherness,different tastes of bitter,sour,sweet n spicy n of course loves n money.so most of them r very careful n won't simply commit.
