I have a 1999 it has 86,000 miles on it and I have done nothing but oil changes, brakes, and tires. It did eat tires till i started rotating them every 6000 miles. At 80,000 the maintenance was expesive to have the timing belt replaced. I will need a new exhaust in a year or two there is a small hole and it will cost 1200
becase there is only one pipe from the front to the back and it incudes the catalitic converter.

I would get a Honda Odyssey. The Odyssey has been the best minivan ever since it came out. Do yourself a favor and get the Honda Odyssey.

PS. the Silverado does deserve Motor Trend truck of the Year, and just won the NACTOY award too. The Saturn Aura, however should have been car of the year, as it has much higher satisfaction and quality, not to mention the money you save. http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2007701080317
