My mom doesn't like hot weather and I think she's only dating this guy because he makes a lot of money. Should I tell her I don't want her to go or should I just let her go?

las vegas isnt that bad. it just depends on the area. if you dont want your mom to go, then tell her. other than that, i guess let her make her own decisions.

Las Vegas can be a really good place to live. You didn't mention if you were going with her. Oh, and if she doesn't like hot weather, she should not go. People tend to forget that Las Vegas is in the desert. Consequently, it gets hot. Very hot. If I was under 18, I wouldn't want to go because their schools have a lot of problems. Then again, like any other town, it depends on where you live.

You have no say in the matter,she is an adult, even if you disagree,
Maybe she needs to get this out of her system. If she hates hot, she should be back lickety split, cause it is hot..
It is a tourist town, lots of night life for sure and not a place you'd want to raise a kid, but she isn't bringing any children with her.
It is an adult place and it can get very tiring....
Instead of discouraging her, wish her the best and that is it.
Be mature abut it.....she has a life to live too.

well i think you should tel her how you feel and that you have a say in it to since your the man of the house, right i mean it's only you and your mom, so what if the guy decised to dump your mom once you guys are there will you be able to work things out or not??

If it's your Mom, it's not up to you. It's her decision. I came close to moving there myself after my divorce, because real estate was cheap & I'm not a gambler. Real estate has gone up since then. Is there anything you don't like about the guy? Is he abusive or anything? Is there any other reason you don't want her to go?

If she is your mom than you should be comfortable letting her know how you feel
