I straighten my hair every day and I dyed it. I have alot of split ends and breakidge. I have decided that I want to let my hair go natural and grow it out. I need to know the best shampoo and conditioner that will extremely moisturize and condition my overprocessed hair.

I would try K-pak it is a profesional project it works well with colored and treated hair there is a shampoo conditioner and treatment in it and it makes you hair nice and soft. I would also say try and get a hair cut to get rid of your split ends that also helps your hair not to look so fryed!

Been there, done that too!

First, please consider a hair cut to get rid of some of your ends. I know that is not always the favorite option, but there is no way to "repair" that kind of damage. Any hair stylist worth her salt (or his!) will tell you this too.

Dove Shampoo and Conditioner for over processed hair is in a dark blue bottle. I used this when my hair was like yours and had good results. Also there is a deep conditioning treatment too.

Consider laying off the straightener and the hair dye. Wash your hair ONLY every other day...not every. If you do have to use a hot iron use a heat styling product like L'Oreal straightening lotion in the bright pink bottle, I swear by this stuff! And, if you color your hair at home, only put the color on your ROOTS...do NOT put any on your ends to "refresh" the color like it says on the instructions. That is a BIG no no!!!!!!!

This will sound terrible, but it works:
use a natural mix of 1/3 cup mayonaise, 1/4 cup of warm beer and 1 tablespoon of lemon. Mix these together and then add a 1/4 avacado and blend until it's a smooth texture.

Apply to wet head and message in. Let it sit on your hair for 5 minutes and rinse well. Do this daily for 1 week.

After a week, you can use any store branded shampoo and conditioner you choose.

Good luck.

Here's my two cents worth:

My former hairdresser left a color treatment on too long and over processed my hair. It was awful. My hair was fried. Not that it was in wonderful shape to begin with...I have naturally curly hair and straighten it every day too.

Anyway, my new hairdresser gave me a good hair cut and told me to go and get Mane and Tail Shampoo and Conditioner and start using it every day. Yep, it's for horses but it is cheap and it worked.

My hair began to feel better within days. I really swear by it and I had my doubts. It worked for me. I don't know if will work for you but as I said it is cheap and definitely worth a shot in my opinion.

Good luck! :)

Bumble and Bumble deeeeeeep conditioner. Thats what it's called. Bumble and Bumble is extremely pricey (a small bottle of their deep conditioner will cost you thirty dollars), however, as sad as it is, the more expensive a hair product is, the more likely it is to be more effective. Basically, anything you can buy in a drug store is unlikely to do very much for your hair. Go to a salon and ask to buy some of their products. Also, try leaving conditioner in your hair overnight. This will help your hair to repair itself and you will slowly but surely see your hair begin to get softer, shinier, and healthier looking

You need to remove the damage ends, then use Cream of Nature Shampoo and Conditioner. Limit your use of heated hair appliance, this is why your hair is over processed.

I also have pretty dry ends from bleaching. I find the best thing to do is use a treatment instead of a condtioner, every time you wash your hair. Makes your hair much nicer b/cos the treatments are stronger than conditioner. Fructis is good, as is schwartzkopf; any of thei treatments.

There is a new brand just coming out called Organix. Its amazing. Its got organic active ingredients, its sulfate free - so it won't dry out your hair, and the fragrances are awesome! Its coming out in the next few weeks at Kroger, Target, Albertsons, Safeway, Duane Reade, etc. You'll love Organix!

Dove shampoo and conditioner, without a doubt. I used this for awhile and it always left my hair feeling soft and silky.
