Good car for you would be Mustang GT. Imports suck and they are slow.

if youre looking for get up and go, you shouldnt be looking at any of those cars.

mustangs ARE NOT SPORTS CARS, especially the non GTs. theyre slow as dirt, as are the other cars listed. Of those, only the maxima will be reliable.

The best solution would probably be either an LS1 Fbody (camaro z28, SS or trans am or firebird formula) if you want something that will go in a straight line, or a used subaru WRX STi or Mitsubishi EVO. all are pretty reliable, and quick. The STI and EVO are also very fun to drive (not so much the Fbodies, but those are cheaper).

and dont look at # of cylenders when youre looking at "get up and go." Look at hp/tq and weight. Large pickups have huge v10s and are slow as dirt, but 911 turbos have 6 and are brutally fast.

The Nissan Maxima will probably be the most reliable. As for get up and go, all these cars will perform well.
