I mean necrophiliacs in the sense that they are in love with death. Not necessarily that they have sex with dead people.

It appears that there are many Christians who are so obsessed with the end of the world that they would like to hasten the events they see as fulfilling end times prophecy. Their support for war is just one example of this. I don't think they are necessarily hoping for death or in love with death in any way, but they are so obsessed with the prophecies of the end that they want to prove that they are right.

Read the word

The end of the world does not mean death for God's chosen people so no, not necrophiliacs

In short, before the end, God's chosen people will be called up in the rapture and not suffer death.

you're funny. ppl who obsess about death are more like fatalists. ppl who obsess about, and follow through with, sex with the dead are necrophiliacs...which is a real diagnosis btw.

No. It makes them quitters.

"Man, the world is pretty screwed up. But don't worry, we don't have to do anything to make it better, because soon Jesus will come and whisk us all away to the land of magical gumdrops!"

I'm a fan of Jesus. And religion can be pretty great. But this kind of "end of times" thinking has been around since the dawn of man, and it's not moving us forward as a species.

Good question!

But your are confusing Christians with Nacrophiliacs -- by definition, people who bite the ears off chocolate bunnies.

Look it up if you don't believe me -- and yes, I know a lot of so-called Christians who are flaming nacrophiliacs, even biting off cocoa bunny ears during Sunday School - Why, I never!

People who enjoy sex with dead people are called Presbyterians. Try not to wake them, they're taking their 5th nap of the day, oh boy!

No... not necessarily. You see, the end of the world is actually a new beginning. That's what we're looking forward to - a new beginning with our Lord.

I would say it makes them....obsessed with the end of the world.

Either way, I'm not Christian but I believe the world will end in 2012.

See Wikipedia's article on 2012.

Not at all. We're just doing what Jesus said to do. Preach the Word of the Gospel to the world and try to help save the lost.
