I did not choose for my son to have autism. I did not choose for my husband to have cancer and I did not choose for my Dad to die.

Methinks maybe its a test to see if you got that thing called "Faith." Usually, it's easier to just give up and say "If your not going to listen to me then screw you." Because most of what you do (Even with the best intent) turns wrong. (Welcome to "Murphy's Law") And (In my case) It can last a while. But maybe try to just walk through it and remember "The sun has got to shin up a dog's a-- sometime." (Sorry 4 the hard slogan.) Just tuck that chin in and keep your hands up! And if you REALLY start to lose faith, check this out: (J.C. himself said "Why R U afraid? Where's your faith?")

=)

Yes, sometimes I do.
And for what it's worth, what I believe is this: God is NOT against you but (S)he understands your feelings and it is OK to feel that way.

For a little while.

But at some point you must understand that God wants for you what you want for you and is not putting anything between you and what you want. Nobody is. You will deal with your problems ("lessons"), accept the things that you want, reach your goals, and feel a sense of accomplishment. Because nothing is stopping you (OK, maybe slowing you down, but not stopping you).

Talk to friends, a counselor, a therapist, or family (all of whom God put here for YOU) and YOU will work through things and feel better. Or even ask us for advice on Yahoo Answers. God put that there for you too.

Yes, I am going through a dark period like this right now. Somehow I am holding on to my faith; perhaps it is only by a thread. But I have been through dark periods before and I know that I will see the light at the end of the tunnel again. It is very difficult to pray, but somehow I pray if only a little. We can't afford to let go of our communication with God.

Ask yourself this:

Why would an all loving God be against you or anyone?

We each came to being in order to experience life in the here/ now and each one of us creates our own reality. It is what you choose it to be and the good/bad is what the individual labels each experience.

No way - God is never against me. Sometimes I am against God (when that happens, I don't often realize it immediately, and it's never intentional). God really only wants the best for His children. We are all His children.

Most of us do. Sometimes it feels as though God abandons us and a lonliness sets in. I believe though that sometimes we don't allow God's solutions to enter our lives, we resist. We also forget in prayer, to listen while we pray. God speaks through scripture, circumstance, and sometimes others. And, sometimes God wants us to feel alone, with no one else, that way His message is sure to be heard by us. God does not leave us, we just shut him out sometimes.

if you feel that god is against you think about this for a moment.
life is predetermed at birth you have a destiny to fullfill and you have choices to make to get you there but you are incontrol of that not god its all up to you to do what is right for you.

i hope that helps a little

Sounds like you have an absence of God. My life was a mess until I let God into it. God wont help you unless you want the help. He doesnt force himself on anyone.

Yep. It happens even to me. And sometimes, God is against me. The trick is to get into complete agreement with God about ourselves. When we can do that-we will not believe what we will see.
