What you describe is one of the most common manifestations of clinical depression. Being depressed does not not always mean you feel "down" but rather fatigued. Go see your family doctor and let him/her assess your sleep patterns. You might be surprised at what you learn.

No i really don't think you have a disease, but you may have a sleeping disorder, or you just might be tired from all the stuff that you try to get done in the day. Waking up tired means that you are not getting good sleep, maybe dreaming to much, or waking up to much during the sleeping time. Maybe you should go and talk to your doctor about it, and he can run some test and maybe you can start getting a restfull sleep. You may not be depressed, it may just be a sleep disorder, and also please do not get hooked on any sleeping aids. It just gets so it is hard to sleep with out them, for a while, and you end up just needing more any way. So please just go to your normal doctor and talk with him about it.

Since the industrial revolution, humanity has ignored their natural sleeping patterns. Scientist say by ignoring our nature sleeping patterns has increased are growth hormones and increases desease. I feel it does more than that, and contribute to social problems.

It would be nice to abandon the things that pressure you like this. It comes with problems and misunderstanding with the system.
