And they all suspiciously disappeared on the mountain or in a cave for a while, then came down with their holy visions and their new religion?
Was it too much sun or heat damage, or our sheepish resemblance that inspired them, or better yet may be they got a visit from superior species light years ahead of us,who abducted them tough them some basic stuff and send them back among us to help us evolve faster? or did we?

if u take all of these 3 men they share a more common than any of the people actually realise. take Moses-pbuh for example who was born into a poor family, where his parents had to abandon him when he was still an infant. now take Jesus-pbuh who was born with Divine Spirit of God, whose mother had to undergo so much shame and disgrace from the people, that she had to leave her native. and take Muhammed-pbuh, who lost his father when he was 5 months in his mother's womb and lost his mother at an age of 6.

now the bigger similarity these great men share with Abraham-pbuh. most people fail to notice that these 4 men were in CONSTANT QUEST towards God. they were those who started thinking about God since they were young.

Abraham-pbuh broke the town's Idols when he was 5, Moses-pbuh gave up his luxuries for the thruth of God, Jesus-pbuh spoke from his cradle and Muhammed-pbuh would meditate and cry for knowledge, thruth and forgiveness from God. along with prophet Noah-pbuh together they are known as ulul azmi (the Resolute).

and as for their occupations,
moses-pbuh once was the first heir to Egypt and gave up his riches and became a shepard.
jesus-pbuh was a carpenter as well as a shepard.
muhammed-pbuh was a trader/merchant who gave up his riches and became a shepard.

Jesus was actutally a carpenter and Moses grew up as a prince in Pharaoh's palace. But then Moses ran away and met a family that lived on raising flocks. Jesus was simply likened onto a Shepherd for the sake of illustration (He, by the way, is not a prophet). And I do not know what Mohammed did for living.

Moses was a shepherd, but Mohammed was a merchant and Jesus was a carpenter. They WERE shepherds of people, in that they were leaders. Moses didn't make a new religion; he remained an Israelite. Jesus didn't make a new religion; He remained a Jew, but He was THE WAY to attain salvation. His followers inadvertently made a new religion, because they followed His teachings. His disciples remained Jewish although they taught the ways of Jesus Christ. Mohammed said he received prophetic insight from God. I can't say anything more than that because it is not my place to talk about someone who I know little about.

First of all, Jesus was a carpenter by occupation, not a shepherd.
Anyhow, there were proportionally a lot of shepherds back then, which increases the probability that your prophets would be shepherds.

Because shepherds learn tenderness and kindness to animals from caring for sheep ? and they were able to live pure lives away from corrupt places seeing only the beauty of God's creation
