Yes, there is. Absolute truth is something that is true for all people, at all times, and in all places. It is true whether everyone recognizes it as truth or not.

Relative or subjective truth means that the truth is subject to the holder of the truth. With subjective truth, no one could ever be wrong since there is no standard for right and wrong. According to subjective truth, as long as something is true for one person, it is true even if it is not true for someone else. See the contradictions and flaws in this line of logic? Subjective truth refutes itself!

It also refutes the Law of Noncontradiction, which states that opposite truth claims cannot both be true. For example, if an atheist believes God does not exist and a theist believes God does exit, it is impossible for both to be right. God cannot be both in a state of existence and nonexistence.

If you're standing on top of a tall building and believe that if you jump you will be able to fly without the aid of any man-made apparatus, but I believe the laws of gravity state that you will go splat, how can we both be right? We can't! But, according to subjective truth, you should be able to fly if you really truly believe you can. As for me, I'll stick with absolute truth!

Yes, but it can only be found external to ourselves, in guidelines that tell us what is right and wrong, otherwise we are right back to relativity in truth, and if everyone has their own, then no one has the absolute truth. The only exterior source that I have found is in a religion, and the most reasonable one that I have found requires only a step of faith and not a giant leap as with other religions.

What I consider absolute truth can only be found in the Bible which gives guidelines for living based on an eternal hope. Many people do not believe that this is the absolute truth, and they are welcome to practice their religions -- or none at all -- anyway they like, we can at least tolerate each other for the most part. My absolute truth does not come from man, but man inspired by God himself. Now to get the rest of the world on the same sheet of music...

yes because we all perceive something to be there, absolute truth is just unknown though, once everything is processed by the perceiver or observer, it becomes distorted

there is an absolute truth, but it's unknown and that is because the mind of each individual works differentl, it formulates differently, each individual creates their own reality, but that doesn't mean there isn't one absolute reality, the baises of people distort the absolute reality into multiple realities

the human mind can't see what is absolute

Maybe. But "absolute" is really quite relative. If there is an absolute truth, there's no point trying to figure it out. You'll probably catch your brain on fire.

If you take your keyboard, hold it at shoulder height, and let it go, it will fall to the floor. Provided of course you are on Earth.
