You can find right downtown the biggest bookstores. On Ste-Catherine's street near McGill St. (McGill mertro station.)
Indigo is in the 'Place Montreal-Trust' Mall but you can see it from ouside on the street (Ste-Catherine/McGill) http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/home/storeLocator/storeDetails/282

Chapter's is on Ste-Catherine but 4-5 blocks West of the first one. http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/home/storeLocator/storeDetails/777
