Dear Nesha, all relationships begin with yourself. That is, your relationship with yourself is your most important. Learn to love yourself, to accept yourself as the greatest and most wonderful person you know...without judgment. When you can honestly love yourself you will find that others will welcome you because they admire you. If someone says they are bored by you, that is their issue, not yours. Maybe you should re-think this boyfriend...does he honor you by the way he treats you? Do you honor yourself by being with him? As for topics of conversation...if you don't have anything to say, simply state that fact and hang up.

I think he gets aggrevated because he thought you don't want to talk to him, you're bored with him, you don't want to open up to him or you would prefer do something else than to talk to him. It doesn't mean he thinks you're boring (unless he said so).
I know because my bf is a quiet person, sometimes he doesn't know what to say to me either and I get the wrong ideas of why he doesn't communicate to me. I suggest you tell him that you want to communicate with him, but you don't know what to say, what interest him. Tell him you need him to help you out by asking questions or start a topic.
You really have to try to just talk, about anything. About your day, your feelings, your family, friends, work/study, your past, your dream. Don't worry about you'll bore him or he won't be interested with what you say because anything about you will interest him. Ask him about his day, family, etc. Make him feel you care about him too. You could even talk about other things like movies, tv, politics, weather, entertainment, sports, new gadgets etc. Make him feel that you're trying. Good luck.

Tell him you want to spruce up the relationship, asks him about his day, things you know he is interested in. Sometimes compromising to please someone else, turns out to be fullfilling, because it opens room for the other person to do the same.
