I would say that Boys are easier to raise than girls...The reason is that boys are fairly predictable...They may get dirty, get in a fight, ot even break a bone...But you can plan on those things happening.

Girls do things you cannot predict. My daughter for example at the age of 3 decided she wanted to change her name. When she was 4 she was playing in her room with a friend of hers and another friend came over..her second friend asked if she could play and I said yes...She proceeded down the hallway and came back up the hallway laughing and giggling...She said "Miss Michelle you just gottal come see this" I went down the hallway to my daughters room thinking she must have tried on the little balarina tutu I had bought her...NO..she and her friend had stripped down butt naked and painted themselves blue from head to toe with my acrylic paints...You can't predict that sort of thing...
I had expected my daughter to cut her hair at one point and I was prepared...Being a good girl she complied with my instruction to never cut her own hair...However I never told her not to cut the kitty's hair...Poor cat...she cut the cat's wiskers and for the next month we would hear the poor cat bumping into things in the middle of the night.

When my daughter was 5 we lived at the end of our own dead end road...I found my daughter at the end of the driveway hitchhiking...I asked her what she was doing and she said she was hitchiking to disneyland because I would not take her...

Luckily my daughter made it through her childhood years and I survived as well...But I must say that girls are harder to raise than boys...Hands down

Well, I have 6 daughters so I am not sure on having boys. BUT, I have many friends who have boys and I would take all my six(and they are under the age of 9) for some of there only children.
I personally think it is the parent, not the sex of the child that determines how easy it is to raise the child. I for one am a pretty strict, structured parent so maybe that is why I think that way.

BTW, My family cannot go anywhere without people commenting on how well behaved my children are. And I have a 9, 7, 5, 4, 2, 1 year olds!!

Girls are very easy to take care of until their like 8 or 9 and they get a little bratty. Then once their like 10 or 11 you get the whole "i wanna cell phone!!" Then when their like 12 or 13 you deal with possible aneroxia/belemia. Then when their like 14 or 15 you deal with their virginities. Then 16 is drivers licence//car.

Boys are harder as babies because they tend to be more fussy. Then when they are like 2 or 3 they break everything in sight. Then when they get older they are meaner then they want the newest gaming systems, and soccer practice, broken bones, trips to the ER

But i love kids.

My mom never stops talking about how much easier I (boy) was to raise than my sister.

Boys

Raised one of each and I loved it. Just not much differnce in degree of difficulty, just in what happens when.

Girls are just a bit more expensive, but they tend to clean themselves better and bathe etc without being told, while boys are less expensive but have trouble finding the soap and shower without a map and a guide.

My daughter helped more around the house without being told, but my son was more thorough when he was told to help.

As for their rooms, one smelled of boy and one of girl, but in either febreeze would have been nice (didn't have that back in the day)

I could go on, but you get the point.

Neither easier or harder, just different issues.

It is difficult to raise either a boy or a girl and in my opinion raising a child is the most difficult task.

boys are easier, but only because girls are sneaky, well mine is anyway - boys do naughty things innocently as they are not thought out where as my little girl thinks things through first and then acts. Kind of funny to watch. Girls are also more whingy and they definately know how to turn the water works on when dads around.

Neither. I am a single dad and have raised both. Both present challenges, albeit different ones. Raising my daughter was a little more difficult because I was a single dad, but there wasn't much difference.
