My pit had the same I would take the boxer to the doctor because it could be nothing or it could be tumors. The vet told me that it would go away with medicine but it just got worse we put him down a few months ago.

My boxer had the same thing, and it turned out to just be insect bites...I suspect ants. Boxers are such curious dogs. They love getting into anything and are so sweet that they don't really run away the first or second time they are bitten. As long as he is not having trouble breathing or acting too strange, he should be okay, but if it would make you feel better go ahead and take him to the vet.

Its possible he's having an allergic reation. It could have been brought on by any thing really, from a bug bite, to eating something he shouldn't have, to rubbing on a certain plant.

Keep a good eye on him, if you notice his face swelling (possibly constricting his capability of breathing), hacking coughing or trying to breath, vomitting, diahreia, sudden depression or acting drunk, cream/yellow discharge being released from his around his lips or inbetween his toes ****** he needs to be rushed to a vet ASAP, he's going into the onset of anephelic shock. Which if left un altered it could be fatal.

Just keep a good eye on him. Sometimes the extent of their allergic reaction is just bumps.... which isn't a bad thing.

i agree with donna, he probably got stung, and is having a reaction... if he gets bad or is showing signs difficult breathing take him to the vet. both my dogs (a boxer and a miniature pincher) react the same way when they get stung, but they are fine after about an hour. they have never had ne problem breathing or ne thing. my vet told me i could give them childrens benadryl, but i see no need to since it goes away, and doesn't bother them exept for a little itchy. yeah itch his back he'll love it, lol

Maybe a reaction to something. Take a walk
outside with the dog. But keep your eye
on him to see where he goes. Look for
anything he could have gotten in to, or eaten.
He may need to go to Vet.

It is an allergic reaction. I just went through that with my dog a few weeks ago. See your vet NOW and get some meds to help him.
