Yes, thre are! It is God's will that His beloved children be perfect.
"Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. "
If there is a commandment to be perfect, logically and biblically speaking, there is a way where one can attain the state of perfection; and God will not order this if nobody can fulfill it. In fact, there are a lot of biblically-called perfect persons in time past. One of them is Job (Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.): another is Noah (Gen 6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.): Zachariahy and Elizabeth (Luk 1:5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. ); and the first Christians(Phi 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.). They all practised perfection ----- and they became perfect.
Catholic' and the allegedly 'borg-again' movements' claim that nobody is perfect is a humongous lie; because even Saint Paul in his letter to the hebrews 6:1 admonished the first Christians and said,
"Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,"
Thus, proving once again that perfection as attainable ------ even for us humans!
The big problem is because majority of the people have perverted connotation of perfection and of being perfect. For them, once you commit mistake or have sinned, perfection is lost. That is not true, biblically speaking! In the bible, even if you have sinned, as long as you did not commit it deliberately; and as long as you are not offended by the Word of God and accepts the entirety of God's commandments' you are what the bible call as 'perfect': Just like what is written in "james 3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. "
Our willingness to obey God's laws with the help of the Holy Spirit, will make us perfect in the real ses\nse of the word!

The bible says that we are "made" perfect in Christ. We are perfected in our spirit but the body (our flesh) is not. We will become totally perfect when we join with Him in our new heavenly bodies. I don't remember the verse but there is one that says He who has begun a good work in you shall work to complete it, or in other words, perfect it. So this shows us that we are in the process of becoming perfected in Christ.
