i contacted an old flame that i still had feelings for. he said he was happy to hear from me etc, initiated our first date, initiated seeing me again. when i call within the last week twice, he has turned me down to go our. first time he said he had work to finish (reasonable answer) the second time, he said he had a hangover and would call me back and never did. its been two days i haven't heard from him. should i call, should i leave him alone? please please help!

I think you should forgot him! Even if he does call eventually I doubt he'll have a decent excuse for blowing you off. He's an old flame for a reason.

Oh man! I was going through this not too long ago! I can safely say he's not that into you (sorry!). If you think he's making lame excuses, he is. If you have to tell yourself that his reasons are valid, they're not. What he did was not only impolite, it's a game. More than likely, hearing from you and knowing you still had feelings for him gave him a little ego boost. Depending on what happened in the past with him, he could be stringing you along just to drop you to get back at you for revenge. Bottom line: Don't call him! EVER! He's not going to give you a good reason for not calling you back and you're not going to get closure. Chalk it up to fate telling you that this guy is a loser and deserves to stay in your past.

You should leave him alone. He said he would call you and he didn't. If he wants to contact you, he knows how to do that.

he is a old flame so don't worry about and any was if yall have went out before it will probably not work out so well again

Well, if you already had sex with him than consider it your last date and if you haven't and he still hasn't called I would still just move on...
