I've been dating this guy for almost 5 months. I like him and he likes me. His work is pretty demanding and we only see each other once a week. How can I get him to spend more time with me without whining? I hate having to "train" guys.

Tough one. He is married to his job.
You could have quality time together during that one day per week. Such as dinner and a move. If he is a good guy, be thankful you found him. Lots of jerks today.

You just tipped your hand by saying that you have to "train" guys. People who care for one another don't need to be "trained" and are not looking to "train". What? are you going out with a dog that you found at the SPCA?

You got into the relationship knowing that his work was demanding. Don't enter into something expecting the other to change just because you get laid every now and again. He'll start spending more time with you when he thinks the situation is worth it.

What does he do besides work? Get interested in the things he likes and do those things with him.
