If you wanted a relationship with a girl who said wasn't ready have a relationship (just out of a serious relationship), but she said she liked you and wanted you to travel to see her at a work conference (you live in different cities), would you think she just wanted sex and would you go for it?

As a girl, I can truthfully say that the "I'm not ready for a relationship" line is a pretty standard defense mechanism. If she didn't tell you this, she might appear too eager and scare you away. It's just a part of the courtship dance. Coy and aloof is the way women get the best results. Men tend to avoid the ones that hang by the phone, can be ready to go anywhere with you in 5 minutes, and that don't make you work a little for their attention. I doubt seriously that she just wants sex. If that were the case, I'm sure she could find that with any guy in her own town. She genuinely likes you and wants to spend time with you. That is the truth. Where it goes from here will depend on how the visit goes. You should definitely "go for it" and see what happens. Maybe you'll just have a pleasant weekend, maybe more. You never know but I wouldn't risk it. There are too many weirdos out there. It would be horrible to invest that much money to find out that it's a big lie. Think about it a girl wanting a guy to go to this much trouble just to see her at a conference, what's up with that. There are better places to meet and still be in a public place. Don't spend too much money before you know what she's really got in mind.

first of all girls worlds do not revolve around sex and if shes just coming out of a serious relationship thats probably not what shes looking for. She probably just wants a friend

With me being a girl...of course..All she wants is sex but once she gets what she wants look out...if you guys think that only you can hit and run. Listen ive done my share of story tellin so you just need to watch out....were not a nice as we might look

take chances. Have fun with her. If there is a connection, then take it farther... she will feel it too and it could turn into a relashionship hopefully.
