What is the best free online translator available? I've tried using Babelfish but I find it translates poorly, due to the fact that it translates word for word. If you know of a better free online service please send me the link. Thanks in advance.

The intended purpose is for occasional use sending E-mails to a woman in Peru. Therefore the language needed is Spanish to English & vice versa. Thanks.

You should be more specific. It is very difficult to speak about translators in general (mostly bad all of them), yet for some specific purpose and a specific language one might find "good enough" translators. Feel free to contact me in case you need further help.

There are no "good" or "best" online translators. They're all the same. Your best bet is to actually put time in and learn the language.
