Hahahaha...story of my life bro. I'm 5' 7" and I'd consider myself to have a pretty decent mug (pretty close to my avatar actually), but it's ridiculous how many butt ugly guys I see with absolutely gorgeous girls. 5'7" actually puts me at or above alot of the girls I've seen. I'm considering moving to England or something where the guys are significantly smaller as a rule. You're not alone dude. I think women do it unconsciously.
Look at these answers; these women simply don't get it. When I got to parties, etc. the girls automatically gravitate to the tall guys in the room. Even though I may be better looking. It's not arrogant for this guy to say he's good looking either. Like you girls would call yourselves ugly??????
This board is flowing in BS. Confidence is not an issue with me. Period. The thing about going to England is called hyperbole. Dude, you're 100% correct about this. The thing about the genetics argument is that it doesn't quite add up for me. You would think that tall and ugly vs. average and handsome would offset each other. They don't.

I am attracted to tall good looking guys.
On the surface it's evolutionary women instinctualy want someone who can sheild them from harm whether that harm be another male or the weather.
I am tall myself and have to think about how I would look walking with someone my height or (gasp) shorter. Furhtermore I am just wired that way, short men look like kids to me.
Tall men aren't as insecure as shrimps or average sized men. This is evidenced by the MAN who is considering moving to England so he can have the height advantage. BTW this isn't necessarily true my ex hailed from the UK and was 6'1' which is short for my standards but he was also hot (and evil). I also slept with another one from that evil place and he was about 6' but very strange and not as hot as the first one. This just prove that not all the limeys are shrimps at least not heightwise
So kwityerbitching and take some HGH if you are really as good looking as you claim you should be drowning in women

to put it simply: we want average-height kids. to tell you the truth, when a girl looks for a guy, she is thinking about her offspring. if the guy is short and pudgy, chances are her kids will turn out the same way. despite the uglyness, if the guy is tall, she'll go for it if it means her children will have a chance at being normal height. but with all of that said...maybe the girl is actually attracted to the guy? maybe to her, he's not ugly? maybe to her, he is the world's most charming, loving, caring, greatest guy on earth--and the "medium-height handsome guys" are not. if the medium-height handsome guys were charming, decent and not so conceited, maybe we'd go for you too.

sometimes a girl just feels more comfortable w/ a guy that is taller so they feel more protected.and they know they won't be cheated on.maybe u just think that u r the only hot guy in this world.all women r attracted 2 different types of men.some like tall and ugly.and some like short and cute.it all depends on the lady.

So not true my b/f who i have been with for six years is the same height as me i'm considered tallish but i think he is of average height. I find alot not all of tall guys to be jocks with brauns and no brain. Not the thing i go for. I can't wear heals when i'm out with him though i tower over him damnit lol : )

because if you are going to say that you are a medium height handsome guy then right away i think you are cocky. and personally i would rather have the ugliest guy in the whole wide world because that would be the guy who is going to make me fall in love him for who he is and he would be the sweetest thing, that is worth more than appearance anyday

I like medium height guys better. I mean I don't want to have to look up at the sky to see their eyes. I'm about 5'6 and I wouldn't want to date a 7'7 tall guy, neither a 4'5 guy. I wouldn't want him to be shorter than me either.

first of all thats a bit overboard. Its more about personality than anything for most girls you can be the cutest whatever height guy and have no personality and have no chance with girls. Height is not what most people are looking for
