Give him one option quit or restraining order! You don't need a drunk or drug addicted person because you will never get anywhere in life with somebody like that be very glad he is gone. remember RESTRAINING ORDER!

the thing is, you can't stop him from writing nasty things about you online... the most important thing is, your friends believe in you. they can judge for themselves if what this jerk says is true or not (which is obviously not)
