what would you consider to be
"low limit"??? I play NL 2/5 games locally most of the time. I can fly to vegas for $78 so I figured it would be a good weekend getaway. Plan on taking about $1500 to gamble with. I don't play anything but poker.

At those stakes I'd take a trip to TI (Treasure Island - they think TI sounds cooler). They have a friendly small new poker room. They always have $1/$3 NL and $2/$5 NL games going. They also have three tournaments a day that cost about $60 to enter with a single add on for $10. They may have changed that slightly, but it is along those lines. The staff are nice and the atmosphere is very nice. They have Shufflemaster machines, drinks, flat screen TVs, nice tables, good dealers etc.

I'd also consider The Mirage and Mandalay Bay. Both have nice looking poker rooms. The Bellagio and Wynn tend to be a little higher stakes than the ones I've mentioned.

When you get to Vegas (or before) go to a card room and look for a copy of Card Player magazine. In the back it will tell you all the tournaments that are going on in Vegas while you are there. They have everything from the little $50 buy in right up to th $500+ buy in.
