A kingdom of priests, a holy nation - All the Israelites, if compared with other people, were priests unto God, so near were they to him, so much employed in his immediate service, and such intimate communion they had with him. The tendency of the laws given them was to distinguish them from others, and engage them for God as a holy nation. Thus all believers are, through Christ, made to our God kings and priests, Revelation 1:6, a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, 1 Peter 2:9.

I'm not sure exactly, although I did hear J. Vernon McGee talk about this once. I think it means that originally God intended for the entire nation of Israel to be set apart from the rest of the kingdoms and nations of the world as a God fearing and obedient people to the sovereign will of the LORD. Because of the self-will run riot behavior of this stubborn and stiff-necked people, God opted instead to designate only the tribe of Levi in such a role. Now I'm talking here from the standpoint of the Old Testament. In the New Covenant, all of Gods children are brought back into a right relationship with God based on the perfect sacrifice of Christ.

This means that Moses had so much favor with God that he was blessed like an entire holy nation. That is how much God loved him. He was one of His best friends and truely blessed. I hope that this has helped!

God is saying that His people will be ministers of God, and a Holy Nation.
But they killed the prophets and God's Son.
But they birthed the Savior of the world.
