A friend of mine (female) had an encounter with someone, thinking it was just supposed to be sex. Is it just a roll in the hay if the first thing he 'does' is gives you a long passionate kiss, continualy looks you in the eye during the deed, falls asleep with you after, kisses you on the forehead as he falls asleep with his arms around you, and when you wake up, he walks you back to your place and then gives you a long kiss before you part your seperate ways?

To make this even more complicated, they work together... he is her supervisor (in the military) and they were away in a foreign port. They had both flirted big time before they got into port, both read the signals. He is also married, but has mentioned problems at home.

I know the obvious... he cheated on his wife with her. But that aside, does it mean it was 'just' sex, or does he maybe see something more in her, even though it could never be? Why was he so tender and caring, and kissing her like that if it was just sex?

It's just sex. Aside from him being married, some guys have gotten smart enough to know that if they want just sex, they do have to act they way a woman wants them to act (long kisses, the looks, etc). This is a cliche but, he's married so it's a no win situation. A married man will ALWAYS say there are problems at home, his wife doesn't understand him, they don't have sex, yada yada yada. It's bull. Plain & simple. Tell your friend to cherish their one time romp and steer clear of him. He's smart enough to know not to treat her like a tramp so he can use her. Harsh but true. Good luck to your friend.

It can still be just sex. Intimacy during sexual intercourse is normal, thats all it is. I've had a couple casual relationships with men and this is how some act. To my dismay I fell in love w/ one of these guys because I took these intimate gestures to mean he cared deeply for me - not so, it's just the way they work.

did you also know that sex is a form of physical communication? it's just like hugs and kisses. it might be something that the guy sees in your frend that makes him get all passionate... or he is taking your friend as a replacement of his wife. most of the time when people have flings outside their marriage, it's always about channeling the same feeling they have of their spouses and focus on the third parties

It could be more, as in, he wants to have affection with sex but doesn't necessarily want to get divorced and marry her. Some people just want affection with sex but don't want a committed relationship.

he probably likes her.... but just not enough to actually be with her in a relationship. sooo it was just sex. if he wanted her then he would of broke up with his wife then gone to her and been with her.

but instead it seems like he is having troubles, he is sad at home, maybe angry at his wife, then saw this girl at his work , could see she liked him so used her to get back at his wife. its probably all about the wife, he loves his wife, cares about his wife, was angry at his wife , thats why he did it. get what i mean?

why sure any one can be like that if they fool around,it was just sex,and he will most likely stay with the wife especially if they have children.if a woman wants a sure thing they should stick with single guys.
