If you meet a girl that you are extremely physically attracted to, is it hard for you to know if you are only reacting to her hormonally or do you usually know if you want something more than just a physical relationship?
If it is hard to know when you initially meet her, how long does it usually take you before you know if you also want a relationship with her?

Most relationships start out physically. But after the first contact who knows how long it will take to know if there is more to it. Some people know immediately and some it takes a couple months or so. Just go for it because you won't know unless you try! Good luck!

When it's just physical attraction, the guy might not want to rake his hands off the girl. I mean, when there's more than hormones and physical attraction, you wont have the need to always be physical with her, but you'll also be genuinely interested in knowing more about her, or simple talk to her.

My suggestion would be to spend time with her and get to know her. Don't make any conclusions one way or the other until knowing her better. You'll figure it out, it's an individual thing, and takes as long as it takes. Of course, some girls make the mistake of initially coming on too strong, and a guy's natural response is to back off. Hopefully she has learned better now. Just spend time together and figure it out together as you go along.

With maturity you learn to think through the hormones. Although you may find her very physically appealing, you can still think about how you like her otherwise. Is she someone you'd enjoy spending time with, other than sexually? Do you actually like HER (for who she is inside)?
The body/hormones have a loud voice, but with experience you can learn to hear your brain and heart as well.

if you want to get to know about her interests and can go on a date with her without thinking of getting in her pants, but just enjoy the company and have a good time, then its more than just horomones
