if you don't talk to them about it then they may think that you have something to hide. just be honest about why you don't want to talk about it and they may understand.
do they talk about their exes with you?
try to have an open and honest relationship. that is the only way it will last.

it is never appropriate to bring up past relationships,. It can cause disruption, anger jealousy and unwanted information......
You start fresh in a new relationship and the past should be left in the past.
I would be courteous and pleasant but say I am not discussing any of the past with you. It is not important and has no bearing on us.
If they can't leave it alone, I think there might be a problem. Jealousy and a mean streak usually go hand in hand, so be careful......If they come on too strong, back away and head in another direction....

Yes, I made the mistake of sharing my past with my boyfriend. Sometimes when we argue he will use my past to say things to hurt me.
The past is the past. He doesn't need to know every detail.

Not only is it OK, it is the best course of action to take at any age. Just tell your current boyfriend that he makes you forget all the rest.

Yeah, it's totally okay. Especially if you were hurt in that relationship or if you're the kind of person that puts their past behind them. Me, for example, I kinda act like that person never existed. LOL. Yeah, it's weird. But it works!

I think its fine just don't get too comfortable and say too much this could put you both in an awkward position. Just stick to the questions think about what you are telling him and think about if you would want that kind of info about him and his ex

I'd say it's ok but I think he just wants to see what kind of person you are. You are building a relationship and sharing information about your self is one of those steps.

Well.....as my friend would say, honesty is the best policy. Better to be honset, than to lie and cause more hurt. It's okay to not want to tell him, but you should never try to hide anything.

Yeah if he asks, but it's also okay not to tell the whole truth because you don't want to hurt your new boyfriend's feelings.
