So it's not just the conservative Christians. It's only that the Christians are holding on longer than anyone else in the face of reason and evidence. Other people are willing to hear evidence, but these are the people who run everything through the filter of a book that was written 2000-to-4000 years ago. If it were up to them, black people would still be in shackles and witches would be burning at the stake.

Sorry to tell you but God that you can't be a homosexula and a Christian. God never ordained it as a matter of fact it is spoken of as sin specifically. Don't feel bad though because everyone has a sin nature and all of us succumb to that nature just not all in the same ways. Because homosexuality is a sin. The Bible says it's an abomination. So, I guess it all depends on weather you believe in the Bible or not. And if not then you can't be a Christian. You can't say, "OH, I believe in this part of the Bible about Jesus being the Savior but all the rest of it I throw out. Either it's the word of God or it's not.

I don't know. I guess they REALLY mean that you can't be a homosexual and believe you'll go to Heaven if you believe in the Christian God and its form of Heaven - because that god does not allow homosexuals in (or at least not the ones who act on it).

You can call yourself a christian if you want but you are NOT.
