You know, the whole "low serotonin" thing is in serious doubt right now, and a number of studies have been published blasting the whole idea. It takes no more than a couple days for an anti-depressant to seriously increase serotonin, but up to six weeks to actually feel any effects.

Drug manufacturers may be guilty of "hyping" this theory to sell their drugs. Psychiatrists go right along with it.

Top researchers are becoming very skeptical of the whole "serotonin deficiency" idea, and evidence suggests these serotonin drugs are working through some indirect mechanism, such as increasing neural plasticity or increasing neurogenesis, which would explain why it can take up to six weeks for a drug to work, and why certain SSRI's only work for certain people.

Many of the drugs under development for future years don't even work on these neurotransmitters like serotonin and norepinephrine at all, because even the drug companies realize the whole "serotonin deficiency" idea is becoming old and doubtful.

You most likely have hypothyroidism (low thyroid)
It is tough to find a doctor who goes by symptom instead
of just a blood test.

Take a multivitamin without iron to make sure
your body is getting what it needs to function.

I think so. If your serotonin is low then you feel more stressed and therefore get more headaches.

thats a good question. i'd have to say yes only b/c i have clinical depression. i used to get severe headaches. but since i've been taking anti-depressants i hardly ever get them. maybe its just a fluke but it makes sense to me.
