I've narrowed my bike search down to these two. I've ridden both. The Specialized is $120 more than the Trek. Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks.

I suggest you get the Cirrus.
Although the cost is $120 more, the components (derailleur etc.) are of higher quality. You will save that much more money on repairs anyway, and will have a superior ride.

The Cirrus should get you there faster, judging by the build.

They're both comparable and perfectly fine for casual riding up to longer charity rides. Don't worry about wearing out parts - by the time you put that many miles in, you'll be ready for another bike.

Get the one you like better. If cost is a factor, get the Trek.

I'll be short on this one. As a commuter and racer I'll would go for Specialized. If money is an object go for the Trek.
