Satan has many tricks and many ways to get as many souls as posible to go into the flames with him for all eternity. Astrologers, horoscopes and signs in the stars are all forbidden by the Lord God Almighty. They are tricks from Satan not to be trusted and it doesn't matter if they're predictions accurately happen or if they don't . . . they have been vehemently forbidden by God!

______Easton's Bible Dictionary says:
(Daniel 1:20; 2:2,10,27, etc.) Heb. 'ashshaph', an enchanter, one who professes to divine future events by the appearance of the stars. This science flourished among the Chaldeans. It was positively forbidden to the Jews (Deuteronomy 4:19; 18:10; Isaiah 47:13).

When a person takes birth on this planet, there are several planets and stars that regulate the different tendencies and inefficiencies that the person will have during his/her stay on this planet. Astrology is a bonafide science, and out of the different astrologies Vedic Astrology is the most accurate. I have the fortune to know several Vedic astrologers in my area. Don't be mislead by so-called astrologers that are cheaters and are only after your hard earned money.

I think that the personality having to do with the date of birth, yes. I've met several people and guessed their sign just by observing the way they acted and/or the things they said. Horoscopes, however, which can be written by any random person and advertised as the truth, I don't believe in.

No, and I'm an atheist. I don't discount astrology because it's not compatible with any other "beliefs" I hold. I discount it because, when subjected to common-sense reasoning and supplemented highly by what we know about astronomy and the cosmos, astrology has a very, very, very low likelihood of being true in any case.

Besides that, astrology has failed numerous unbiased scientific studies time and time again.

I find it incredibly hard to believe that star patterns and the alignment of the planets somehow has a huge effect upon my day-to-day activities and attitude.

Any skeptic can take a look at astrology and know that it all fits the disclaimer you see in commercials... "For Entertainment Purposes Only".

What does the Bible teach about Astrology? The Old Testament states that divination is an abomination to the Lord.

It is written, "For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you." (Jer 29:8)

And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years." (Genesis 1:14)

It depends. I work with the more complicated things, such as full natal charts, as well as a true horoscope [taking into account all planets, and such].

The more detailed, yes.

The kind in newspapers, Hell No!

Nope. There's no evidence that the planets positions influence our lives. But people still shell out money for that nonsense.

In a more scientific sense, as in the moon affecting the tides, a woman's periods etc.
