Just wanted to know what the ingrediants for a good cosmopolitan. I dont like the strong liquor taste .

Cosmo recipe
1 1/2 oz vodka
3/4 oz triple sec
3/4 oz cranberry juice
1 oz fresh lime juice
Pour the vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice and lime juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Serve in: Cocktail Glass

Ice cubes
1 1/2 fluid ounces lemon vodka
1 fluid ounce Cointreau
1 fluid ounce cranberry juice
2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lime juice
Long thin piece orange zest
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, Cointreau, and cranberry and lime juices. Cover and shake vigorously to combine and chill. Strain the cosmopolitan into a chilled martini glass. Twist the orange zest over the drink and serve.
Note: The drink can also be stirred in a pitcher.

The original recipe uses cirtus vodka. Try this recipe:
double shot of citrus vodka
splash cointreau (or triple sec)
splash cranberry juice
lime wedge
This is the recipe for a REAL cosmo. Not one of those weak, wimpy cosmos you get in most bars/restaurants. A real good bartender should make it like this & it should be strong(like a martini SHOULD be). YUMMMMM

Try using Ketel One's Citrus Vodka or Absolut's Kurant Vodka in place of regular vodka!
