ok so, a few friends and i were thinking about skipping a day of school in a few weeks so we can go do something that we can only do on that day. anyway, we're not quite sure how we're going to get away with ditching school (were in high school, by the way). we were thinking about having someone call us in sick other then our parents, so we'll be excused without them knowing, but that plan might fall through. and if we're not excused the school will call our parents and then yeah, we pretty much get in trouble for ditching school. soo..any other ideas or suggestions on how to skip school without getting in trouble would definately be appreciated! thanks :]

and we cant just fake sick so our parents will call us in because one of my friends wouldnt be home alone during the day if she did that, so she wouldnt be able to go anywhere, which pretty much just defeats the purpose. basically, our parents cant know were not going to school.

Tell your parents what you want to do- subterfuge is useless and will ultimately get you in trouble. If you don't miss a lot of school your parents will understand that missing one day isn't a big deal. Mine would have happily done it.

One time when I was in high school my 4 friends and I were messing around and we missed about a half a day of school. We all showed up to one of our classes and there was a test earlier. Well the class bell rang and the teacher asked told us to wait she asked us why we had been late. We had it all planned out and were like well we had a flat tire. She was like well those kinds of things happen so why don't you turn those 4 desks around so everyone is facing back to back. We did and when we all sat down she said I understand you all had a rough morning so we will make this quick. There will be no test for you 4 today just one question...we were like woot! Then came the question "which tire was flat?" oh **** we had not planned it out so well I guess. The point being I don't think it will hurt to skip in occasion as long as you aren't doing anything illegal or harmful to your health or safety but please...please cover all the details with your friends

if your school has field trip slip get one and fill it out. zmake up a field trip and have your parents sign it. Then throw that way. our parents are taking care of. Then call in for school. don't say your sick, too obvious. Say you had a family energency. if you can't fake it ask someone who sounds older to call in for you. PArents are out the way and so is school. Problem solved. Don't listen to the other s who say skipping is stupid. I skipped a many times in my may and made A's and B's (a C in math) and I didn't die. Carpe Dieum!!

If you are only doing this once, then maybe that is okay. Make sure that there is someone who knows what you guys are doing and where you are for safety reasons. Make sure they are told to call your parents if you don't call in every 2 hours.

Get a background noise that is very heavy and then talk into a cup and say you are working at the mill. Then say your daughter is sick.

Don't use the working at mill thing for everyone,...might be suspicious.

Actually just go to school..

Write a note from your "parents" with your cell phone as the contact number. Change your voice mail to something ADULTISH like "You've reached 555-9855 please leave a message and I'll get back to you--thanks" Or just talk to your parents and tell them your gonna ditch sometime parents are like just tell me where you are going and will call in sick for you.

Have fun but be safe if your gonna do this (ditching isn't a good idea but I can't stop you so i wont try!) please make sure someone who is an adult knows where you are!!

Why don't you try asking your parents if you can go to this activity....honesty is the best policy. If it is something that you think they wouldn't let you go to, or if you have a reputation for not being reliable, reasonable or mature, then you probably shouldn't go anyway. However, if you are a good student and you have developed a trusting relationship with your folks, then sitting down and having a talk about it with them may get you the results you want without the dishonesty. I would (and have) let my son do it, as long as it doesn't become a habit, he makes up missed work and he remains trustworthy.

The school might call back your parents, because the person you have acting as your parents may sound young, and wont be able to pull it off.

It would be easier to get away with something on the weekends, that way, you can always make up something that you are doing, then go do something else.

Tell your parents your sick, tell them to call you in sick. Then after they called you in sick... the school will think you are excused, so change your mind and tell your parents you have to go to school today. Get dropped off at school and then ditch from there. School won't call your house because you are "excused" and you have the whole day to yourself.

If you want to ditch be prepared to accept the consequences. If not don't. Either way it'll be known around school that you ditched and any responsible teacher will inform your parents.

Well I did not tell you but the best way I did it was to forge a note from my parent and then just sign my self out. I never got caught.
