There are certain things that you can share with your brother and certain things that you shouldn`t have to. But sharing is one of the things that I always taught my children (mother of five). Naturally being a girl you are not sharing all things but like games, CD`S, & general things that brother and sister can share.

Do it for love or don't do it at all. If you want to share your things with your brother because you love him, by all means, please share. If you don't want to share, don't. They are your things. But, then, your brother may not want to share his things with you either. What goes around, comes around.

I understand how you feel. Whenever my brother borrows my stuff he always returns it worse off (broken, damaged, etc.) If your parents are forcing you to share, that sucks, but if not, don't lend your brother anything unless he is a) always responsible with your stuff and b) you are feeling kind and giving. Which judging by this question, you aren't at this moment.

If you bought and paid for them then no, you shouldn't.
If your parents are trying to make you, explain that you keep your things nice because you appreciate them, and your brother just breaks everything.

because he is your family and family shares things and does things for each other. don't be selfish, you need to think of him and what he wants. you love your brother now go and give him a hug.
