What should I do? Need an advice?

I seeing this guy for more than 6 months now. He told me that he is afraid of me, afraid of falling in love with me. What should I do? I told him that I love him. He is leaving in April and he said that just leave him alone nad he is trying to protect me. I dont know if he loves me or not. After he said that he is afraid of falling in love with me and then He told me i don't love you. i just let him go or what. I love him so much.

You should listen to what he is telling you. He is the best judge of his own character, he knows himself better than anyone else ever could...so if he tells you he is protecting you and thinks you should leave him alone, you really ought to take his word. Why force him to make you a believer of his words? That doesn't make any sense, know does it?

He told you he didn't love you, so what's to decide about?

He has issues with relationships, whether he's telling you this to do some reverse psychology or if he's telling you it because he can't handle a relationship and be in love- whatever the case, he is not giving you an invitation to something healthy and normal.

It took me a long time to realize that people really do give you a heads up, it's just up to us to take their word for it.

I know you love him a lot but you should let him go. Read between the lines. If he's saying he's afraid to fall in love with you, he's likely saying he doesn't love you yet. Maybe after he leaves he'll see that he really does love you and he'll come back. I hope everything works out for you.

It sounds like he has had MAJOR issues in his past. Try backing off for a bit and let him think it over. Before he leaves invite him to do a group thing and just be friends. BELIVE me I've been here (in both sides) and he needs to let it go and you need to let him and be the friend that will be there to catch him.
