I use their products sometimes and I seem to like them and haven't had any trouble. It sure is a lot less expensive than salon products.

Hello, I have been doing hair for 20 years and I take lots of pride in my work. It makes you feel good knowing you made someone feel good about themselves. To answer your question (YES) it is very bad and damaging to your hair hair. The products in dove shampoo and conditioner are full of wax. This will make your hair feel very soft for a while, but after it gets the build up on there it is hard to get it off. You can take the end of a ratail comb and run it down a strand of hair and it will pull off some of the wax, you can see it. This usually happends about six weeks after use. If you want a good over the counter shampoo/conditioner. Try horses main and tail, it is great. It has a lot of natural ingridents in it, that will protect your hair from harsh wind, sun, blow drying ect. Good luck hope this helped you out.

Dove is good. I used to use it, but now I use sheer blonde. Dove is really good, it leaves your hair silky. Or if not, try sheer whatever you are. My mom has sheer brunette. But they took it away from her at the airport :) She had to put it ina bag, and she didnt. They also took a can of soup.

No. I use Dove shampoo and it's really good (I don't know your hair type) but don't use the soap on your hair.

I dont think so but..... my hair dresser told me to make sure that whatever shampoo and conditioner i use that alcohol is not one of the top 4 ingredients.... pantiene pro-v is one and my hair has gorwn so much faster than before.

No, not the shampoo. I wouldn't use the soap in your hair though.
